NSF Certified KDF 55 and Calcium Sulphite reduces +90% of copper, iron, lead, cadmium, nickel, and chlorine . These harsh mineral salts and heavy metals bond with KDF as water passes through, creating new elements. Chlorine, for instance, shifts into harmless chloride. Granular Activated Carbon reduces trihalomethane (THMs) and odour. Due to the small size, no shower filter removes calcium and magnesium (the contributors of limescale).
